Cincinnati C Chris Vogt transfers to Wisconsin

Wisconsin on Friday announced the addition of 7-foot-1 center Chris Vogt, a graduate transfer from Cincinnati.Vogt started 50 of his 53 games for the Bearcats from 2019-21, averaging 8.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.”I think that Wisconsin was the best fit for me, both on and off the court,” Vogt said in a statement released by the Badgers. “I fit very well into this program’s style of play and Wisconsin is a very good school to get an MBA from. I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play basketball and thank my family for supporting me through this process and my whole basketball career.”Vogt played two seasons at Northern Kentucky (2017-19) before transferring to Cincinnati. He averaged 3.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 48 games (two starts) with the Horizon League program.
