Graham Ike finds range as No. 19 Gonzaga routs No. 23 Creighton

Graham Ike made a career-best four 3-pointers and recorded 20 points and 10 rebounds while leading No. 19 Gonzaga to a 90-63 romp over No. 23 Creighton on Tuesday in nonconference play at Spokane, Wash.Braden Huff scored 14 points, Mario Saint-Supery added 13 and Adam Miller had 11 for the Bulldogs (3-0), who broke the game open with a 21-0 second-half run.Nik Graves and Blake Harper scored 12 points apiece for the Bluejays (1-1), who were outscored 46-25 in the second half.Gonzaga shot 52.9% from the field, including 9 of 27 (33.3%) from 3-point range. Ike didn’t miss from behind the arc and connected on 8 of 10 field-goal attempts overall.The Bulldogs owned a 41-33 rebounding advantage and had a 27-5 edge in points off turnovers.Creighton shot just 36.7% and was 7 of 25 (28%) from behind the arc. The Bluejays committed 12 of their 18 turnovers in the second half.Gonzaga led by six at halftime but opened the second half with an 8-2 push to take a 52-40 advantage on a layup by Huff.Austin Swartz knocked down a 3-pointer with 13:44 left as Creighton moved within 10 before the Zags began the game-sealing burst.Saint-Supery scored 10 points during the run and Ike made his fourth 3-pointer. Huff ended the streak of 21 straight points by sinking a jumper with 7:39 remaining to give the Bulldogs a 76-45 advantage.
