Syracuse guard J.J. Starling will miss Saturday’s home game against Delaware State due to a right-leg injury, with freshman Kiyan Anthony expected to start in his place.Starling, who led the Orange in scoring with 17.8 points per game last season, was hurt in Monday’s season-opening 85-47 win over Binghamton. He has been considered day-to-day since.Anthony, a four-star prospect in the 2025 class, is the son of Syracuse legend and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame member Carmelo Anthony.
