Wake Forest bounces back to crush UMass Lowell 109-75

Tre’Von Spillers and Juke Harris each scored 21 points and Wake Forest bounced back from a frustrating loss to roll past UMass-Lowell 109-75 on Sunday afternoon in Winston-Salem, N.C.Nate Calmese added 15 points and seven assists, Myles Colvin provided 13 points off the bench and Omaha Biliew also had 13 points for the Demon Deacons (3-1), who fell in overtime to No. 6 Michigan on Tuesday in Detroit.The Demon Deacons shot 55.9% from the floor and scored 61 points in the second half.JJ Massaquoi scored 26 points off the bench to lead UMass-Lowell (1-4). Austin Green and Khalil Farmer each had 10 pointsWake Forest connected on 13 shots from 3-point range in 30 attempts, while UMass-Lowell went 6 of 22 from beyond the arc. The Demon Deacons collected 25 points off 15 River Hawks turnovers.Spillers shot 8 of 9 from the floor, Harris was 8 of 14 and Calmese was 5 of 6.
